ZN-320 2K Acrylic MS Clear Coat is a medium-solids (MS) two-component acrylic clear coat developed for professionals who want to maximise workshop efficiency while keeping an eye on the cost/performance balance. Its optimum solids content combines sufficient film build, comfortable spraying characteristics and controlled consumption. It provides a reliable topcoat across a wide range of work, from standard body and paint repairs to commercial vehicle refinishing.
Fast dust-free drying means parts spend less time in the booth and the daily workflow speeds up. Balanced flow limits the risk of runs on vertical surfaces while producing a smooth, glossy appearance. The cured film responds well to sanding and polishing, so minor defects such as dust nibs can be removed quickly and easily. These properties make ZN-320 an efficient solution for body shops working at a busy pace.
ZN-320 is mixed 2 : 1 by volume with ZN-430 2K MS Hardener and thinned with 10% ZN-510 Acrylic Thinner. This pairing keeps the flow and drying balance of the clear coat at an optimum level. It is used as the topcoat in standard repair systems built with ZN-210 4+1 Acrylic Primer Filler and basecoat; on spot repairs, the blend edge can be finished with ZN-520 Blending (Fade-out) Thinner. Cleaning the surface with ZN-530 is recommended as part of pre-paint preparation.
Values are typical at 20 °C and 65% relative humidity. Please review the product's current Technical Data Sheet (TDS) before application.

The recommended application sequence for a professional result.
Wait for the basecoat to complete its flash-off and wipe the surface lightly with a tack cloth. If the clear coat is to be applied directly over existing paintwork, scuff the surface with P800–P1000 and clean it with ZN-530 Surface Cleaning Thinner.
Mix 2 parts by volume of ZN-320 with 1 part of ZN-430 hardener, then add 10% ZN-510 Acrylic Thinner. Stir until the mixture is uniform and strain it into the spray gun.
Using an HVLP gun fitted with a 1.3–1.4 mm nozzle at approximately 2.0 bar inlet pressure, apply a medium closed coat followed by a full wet coat. Allow 5–10 min between coats; aim for a total dry film thickness of 50–60 µm.
Allow a 5–10 min flash-off before baking. Dry the part for 30 min at 60 °C object temperature or leave it for 16 h at 20 °C.
Once the part has cooled completely, remove dust nibs and minor defects by fine sanding and polishing. Clean the spray gun with ZN-510 Acrylic Thinner immediately after use.

Balanced-evaporation thinner that brings 2K acrylic paints, clear coats and primers to ideal spray viscosity; reduces orange peel and ensures even flow.
Blending thinner that makes the transition between new clear coat and existing paintwork invisible in spot repairs; melts in overspray edges and eases polishing.

High-build 2K acrylic primer filler: covers filled areas, does not sag, sands easily and creates a smooth, isolating base for the topcoat.
Invisible spot repairs with blending thinner: zone planning, basecoat and clear coat blending, the fade-out step, polishing and common mistakes, step by step.
