ZN-330 2K Acrylic HS Clear Coat is a premium high-solids (HS) clear coat developed for workshops aiming for the highest standard of repair quality. Thanks to its high solids content, it builds a full film even with a 1.5-coat application, giving the surface glass-like depth and a mirror-like gloss. It is the clear coat of choice for top-quality repairs where a result as close as possible to the original factory finish is expected.
The densely cross-linked film structure offers superior resistance to fine scratches caused by car wash brushes and everyday use. Very high UV stability and strong resistance to yellowing keep the gloss and colour purity intact for a long time, especially on white and light colours. Its resistance to fuel, bird droppings and washing chemicals provides lasting surface quality that preserves the appearance of the vehicle.
ZN-330 is mixed 2 : 1 by volume with ZN-440 2K HS Hardener and, when necessary, thinned with 0–5% ZN-510 Acrylic Thinner. In a premium repair system, it is applied as the topcoat over a surface prepared with ZN-220 5+1 HS Acrylic Primer and then coated with basecoat. On spot repairs, the blend edge can be made invisible with ZN-520 Blending (Fade-out) Thinner; ZN-530 Surface Cleaning Thinner is recommended for pre-paint surface cleaning.
Values are typical at 20 °C and 65% relative humidity. Please review the product's current Technical Data Sheet (TDS) before application.

The recommended application sequence for a professional result.
Wait for the basecoat to complete its flash-off (until it turns matt) and wipe the surface lightly with a tack cloth. An ambient and part temperature of approximately 20 °C is ideal for the clear coat to flow out.
Mix 2 parts by volume of ZN-330 with 1 part of ZN-440 hardener. If necessary, add 0–5% ZN-510 to adjust the viscosity to 18–20 s in a DIN 4 flow cup, then strain the mixture into the spray gun.
Using an HVLP gun fitted with a 1.3–1.4 mm nozzle at approximately 2.0 bar inlet pressure, apply a thin but closed first coat. This coat helps the second coat to grip the surface and flow out without running.
Once the first coat has tacked up slightly, apply the full wet second coat within approximately 3–5 min. Aim for a total dry film thickness of 50–70 µm; avoid excessive film build.
Allow a 5–10 min flash-off before baking. Dry the part for 30–40 min at 60 °C object temperature or leave it for at least 16 h at 20 °C.
If necessary, once the part has cooled completely, remove dust nibs by fine sanding and polishing. As surface hardness increases over time, carrying out corrections within the first day after drying makes the job easier.

Balanced-evaporation thinner that brings 2K acrylic paints, clear coats and primers to ideal spray viscosity; reduces orange peel and ensures even flow.
Blending thinner that makes the transition between new clear coat and existing paintwork invisible in spot repairs; melts in overspray edges and eases polishing.
Premium 2K HS acrylic primer that delivers high film build even in a single coat. Fills micro-pores, flows out perfectly and dries fast.
