Sustainability

We take responsibility for our chemistry not only in terms of product performance, but also for its impact on human health, the environment and resources.

Responsible chemistry

By their nature, surface coating products involve elements with an environmental impact, such as solvents, reactive components and packaging waste. We see managing these impacts as a responsibility that must be addressed from the very first step of product development. In our formulations we prioritise solutions aimed at reducing volatile organic compound (VOC) content, and we aim to put into practice measures that increase efficiency in the use of raw materials and energy.

Our approach to sustainability works hand in hand with our users. Through correct mixing ratios and application recommendations, we take care to help reduce material waste, and through clear, understandable safety information, to support the safe use of our products and the proper management of waste. We regard compliance with national and international chemicals regulations as an essential part of our activities, and we follow developments in this field closely.

  • VOC Reduction

By extending the use of high-solids systems and lower-emission formulations, we aim to reduce the VOC content of our product range step by step.

  • Waste Management

We make it our priority to reduce production waste at source, to separate it by type and to send it for recovery or disposal through licensed facilities in line with legislation.

  • Packaging Recycling

We aim to choose recyclable packaging materials, and we inform our users about disposing of empty containers with residues in accordance with the relevant legislation.

  • Energy Efficiency

We aim to monitor and reduce energy consumption in our production processes and, with products that can dry at low temperatures, to help our users save booth and oven energy.

  • Responsible Chemistry and Regulatory Compliance

Our priorities are compliance with the obligations arising from chemicals regulations such as Turkey's KKDİK and, where applicable, the EU's REACH, up-to-date Safety Data Sheets and correct labelling.
