Industrial Chemical SolutionsPaint systems for automotive refinishing and industrial surfaces
A panel repair system built on 5+1 HS Acrylic Primer and 2K Acrylic HS Clear Coat, aiming for high film build in fewer coats, deep gloss and a durable finish.

Ideal for
The Premium Panel Repair System is designed for medium to large panel damage and complete resprays; doors, wings, bonnets and boot lids are typical applications. The main fill, carried out with Universal Polyester Filler, is refined into a smooth base with Soft Finishing Filler. Applied next, 5+1 HS Acrylic Primer reaches the required build in fewer coats thanks to its high solids content and reliably covers sanding scratches.
Used for the final coat with 2K HS Hardener, 2K Acrylic HS Clear Coat has been developed to deliver high gloss, a full-bodied appearance and a finish that resists environmental influences. Its high-solids formulation reaches the same film thickness in fewer coats, reducing labour and booth time; and because less solvent is needed for the same dry film, it also helps to lower volatile organic compound (VOC) emissions. It is recommended for vehicles where expectations of appearance are high and for quality-focused workshops.
For mixing ratios, drying and flash-off times, refer to each product's own Technical Data Sheet.
Surface Cleaning
After washing and drying the panel, use the thinner to remove all grease, silicone and polish residues from the entire repair area. Repeat the cleaning after every sanding stage and before every intermediate coat.
Main Filling
Sand the damaged area back to bare metal with P80, then mix the filler with 2–3% by weight of the hardener supplied in the pack and apply it in thin layers, pressing it firmly into place. Once dry, shape the filler with P80–P120 and level it with P180.
Fine Filling and Finishing
Cover sanding scratches, pinholes and minor waviness with a thin skim of filler. Once dry, level with P150–P180, finish with P240 and check that the surface is true using a guide coat.
Primer
First cover any exposed bare galvanised steel or aluminium with Joker Multi-Purpose Primer. Then mix the primer 5:1 by volume with 2K Acrylic Primer Hardener (ZN-410), reduce it to spraying viscosity with Acrylic Thinner (ZN-510) and apply 2–3 coats. Once fully dry, sand with P400–P500 using a guide coat.
Basecoat
Wipe the surface with a tack cloth and apply the colour-matched basecoat according to its manufacturer's instructions until full opacity is achieved. Before applying the clear coat, allow the basecoat to flash off to an even matt finish.
Clear Coat
Mix the clear coat with 2K HS Hardener (ZN-440) and, if necessary, thin it with Acrylic Thinner (ZN-510). Apply 1.5 coats: first a light closed coat, then a full wet coat 3–5 min later. Bake for 30–40 min at 60 °C (object temperature) or, when air drying at ambient temperature, allow the time stated in the Technical Data Sheet (TDS).
HS primer and clear coat reach the required film thickness in fewer coats, reducing both the time spent at the spray gun and booth usage.
The high solids content helps the clear coat flow out full and smooth, with the aim of reducing the need for compounding and polishing.
Built with matched hardeners, the system aims to create a paint layer that resists scratches, chemicals and weathering.
With the correct surface preparation, the same product chain can be used on steel, galvanised steel, aluminium and sound existing paintwork.

The standard system for everyday panel repairs: easy to apply with 4+1 Acrylic Primer Filler and 2K Acrylic MS Clear Coat, balancing cost and quality.
A layered repair system for deep dents, holes, cracks and weld areas: fibre-reinforced fillers provide strength and a finishing filler a smooth surface.
